Tis’ the Season to Give, Consider Donating to Red Door

Christmas is one of our most favorite times of year.  It’s a time for families to draw closer together and get into the spirit of thinking of others – a time for laughs, smiles, warm hellos, and heartfelt goodbyes.  We see the excitement in our students’ shining faces as they draw closer to Christmas Day.  We see the joy of many parents welcoming the chance at a break from work so they can spend some time with their little ones.  Red Door is truly touched to see the spirit of Christmas in our classrooms and halls as students and teachers work on crafts, sing songs, and participate in reindeer games.

We realize that many families also struggle during this time of year.  We have compassion for parents who are tirelessly working to provide gifts for their children, for this reason, Red Door has decided to participate in the Adopt a Family program.   This program will allow members of the Red Door Learning Montessori Board of Directors to buy gifts for a local family.  This is our way of giving back to our community and doing our best to spread the warmth and love of the Christmas season to as many as we can.

That being said, we want to encourage your thoughtfulness this Holiday season.  Perhaps you are looking to make a monetary donation to a worthwhile cause.  Or maybe your company or employer is looking to make a tax-deductible donation before the December 31 deadline.  Whatever the case may be, if you have the ability to make a gift to Red Door Learning Montessori, we would appreciate your kindness.  All donations are used dollar per dollar to cover the cost of tuition for a special needs child or building and program expansions.

The Red Door Learning Montessori is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to serve the community as a haven for Kinder through age 13 students and care givers who have experienced the diagnosis of a learning disability. Additionally our goal is to contribute learning strategies to assist in conquering the normality prognosis of the “disabled learner" and to provide all children with a loving, accepting environment where they can learn and grow at their own pace.  We cannot exist without charitable funding and donations from friends like you.  If you are interested in making a donation this Holiday season, please visit our online donation page or email us at admin@reddooropen.org.

If you are not able to make a donation, we ask that you simply help us spread the word about our organization and mission.  We want all of Houston to know that Red Door is here to provide a haven for all children, regardless of their stage in development, age, race, creed, or religious belief.

We wish you the absolute best this Holiday season.  May your days be filled with love and happiness.  If you would like more information on the Adopt a Family program, please speak with a staff member or contact us at admin@reddooropen.org.
